| 1. | BY REGISTERING AN ACCOUNT WITH INTOUCH 24/7 RENTAL (PTY) LTD (ALSO REFERRED TO AS “WE”, “US”, OR “OUR”) YOU ARE INDICATING THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND ACCEPT TO BE BOUND BY THIS PRIVACY POLICY. |
| 2. | YOU ALSO AGREE TO THE COLLECTION AND USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AS STATED BELOW AS WELL AS IN THE RENTAL AGRREMENT. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THIS PRIVACY POLICY, YOU MUST NOT REGISTER AN ACCOUNT. |
| 3. | Personal information means the information you supply to us which include (but not limited to) your name, email address, postal address, telephone, Identity Document and any other information we receive from a third party, that can be used to identify you when you register an account for use of our services. |
| 4. | We collect personal information to ensure that we rent out our vehicles to the verifiable and responsible individuals that can be entrusted with our vehicles. |
5. | We do verify identity, security, driving license and background check for our Renters directly or indirectly through a third-party service provider such as Identity Verification Agency. |
| 6. | All the information we collect (directly and indirectly) about you is kept safe by us for its intended use and will not be shared further. |
| 7. | We will always take necessary steps to ensure the information supplied to us is kept safe as required by the Protection of Personal Information Act No 4 of 2013. |
| 8. | Our vehicles are equipped with vehicle tracking system and Global Positioning System (GPS) to assist with the recovery in the event of a theft as well as to monitor its status regarding any accidents. |
| 9. | The information supplied to us and that received from a third-party service provider may be used for legal purposes including to comply with any legal obligation, court of law or police request. |
| 10. | This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time and the Renter is required to visit the website frequently to read up on the latest revision. We will post a notice of any changes and updates prior to implementing them. |
| 11. | It is the Renter’s responsibility to check the latest update every time a booking is made. |
